The Way of Sanctuaries (La Via dei Santuari) is yet another path tourists can allow for covering once in Cinque Terre. This route unites five ancient shrines from the five villages of Cinque Terre: Lady of Montenerro, in Riomaggiore; Lady of Health, above Manarola; Lady of Grace, in Corniglia; Lady of Reggio, near Vernazza; Lady of Soviore, near Monterosso. This path, as some historians maintain, takes visitors through a communication circuit which dates back to 1800 BC. It provides simultaneously the opportunity to face the traces of ancient history and the chance to admire and penetrate through scenic nature sets.

This route needs some 10 hours to be completed, an estimation which also includes the stops at the celebrated shrines.
